Eset remote administrator is the tool that helps you to manage multiple clients/computers on the using ESET product on the network. Eset remote administrator consists of two modules - ESET remote administrator server and ESET remote administrator Console. To install the ERA server on your computer, you can seek the help of experts by calling ESET support number. * Once the file gets downloaded, go to the download folder and run the installer.
* On the ERA setup page, you need to select your language and click on next.
* On the next screen, select - install remote administrator server and click on next.
* You can read the end user’s license agreement before proceeding further. Then you can select - I accept the terms in the license agreement and click on next.
* Your network architecture determines the components for installing. You can select the components you would like to install on your device. The components available are listed below:
* Under the Remote administrator server, there are remote administrator agent, mobile device connector and Microsoft SQL server express.
* Web console.
* Rogue detection sensor and
* Apache HTTP Proxy (minor replacement)
* Click on Next, once you select the components you want to install.
* On the ERA setup window, click on next.
* If you have chosen to install the Microsoft SQL server express, then you need to click on check to perform the database connection check. Jump to the next step.


Note - If you have a pre-existing database user, then From the database drop-down, select the appropriate database type.
* You need to enter the database name, hostname, and the port on the section given on the screen, and click on next. (You can find the details in SQL server configuration manager)
* On the next page, select - Use Existing User, enter your database username and password.
* Click on next.
* If you have jumped to this step, then enter your ERA web console password, confirm the password and hit on next.
* In the certificate information window, you can enter the credentials listed or leave it. But you need to fill the sections - certificate validity, the authority common name section and the authority password, then click on next.
* On the next page, select activate with the license key and enter your license key in the field given on the page, then click on next.
* Click on the install and on the next window, click on the finish button.
* You need to follow the instruction in the WinPcap installation setup wizard.
* You need to click on the URL link given on the installation successful window to open the ERA web console.
Advisory - You are advised you to bookmark or save the URL to access the link in the future. However, the ERA installer will automatically create a link to a Web console in your smart menu by default.
